John V. O'Connor

John is the founder of O'Connor Wealth Management, Inc. and has worked with families, high net worth individuals, and small businesses in the financial services industry for over thirty-five years. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and is a shareholder of the firm.

Prior to establishing O'Connor, John provided retirement and financial planning services to clients through independent brokerage firms. Through O'Connor, he has created a completely independent Investment Advisory firm to deliver unbiased, fee-based (no commissions) advice to clients.

John's clients include business owners, school and healthcare employees, non-profit organizations, and individuals who are serious about creating a plan as a guide for their financial future and that of their families. He believes that an educated client makes informed decisions and understands the thinking behind the creation of a financial plan.

John is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Business Administration and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law.

John is active in volunteer organizations that serve disadvantaged youth groups. He is an avid runner and regularly competes in half marathons and marathons. As the father of two adult children, John looks forward to pitching batting practice to all eight of his grandsons and his one granddaughter.

Chris de Lorimier, EA MBA

As Chief Operating Officer and a shareholder of the firm, Chris is responsible for the development and implementation of O'Connor’s internal management strategy in addition to serving as an investment advisor to the firm's clients and many of their children and grandchildren.

Chris developed his passion for financial planning through his own personal investing and has been working with individuals, families, and small business owners for over a decade. He has found that fear can greatly inhibit a person’s decision-making ability when it comes to money. Through developing and implementing a financial plan, a person can most effectively achieve their goals and eliminate this fear.

Chris graduated from the University of California – Los Angeles with a degree in Psychology, earned an MBA in Financial Planning from California Lutheran University, and is also an Enrolled Agent as licensed by the Treasury Department.

Chris enjoys going to LA Kings & Ontario Reign hockey games, traveling with his wife, Mary, and exploring the world with their son, Carter.
